T. S. Chandra is an Indian biochemist, educator, researcher. She is a professor at Indian Institute of Technology Madras. While getting her bachelor's and master's degree at Bangalore (India) University, from 1969 to 1971 respectively. In 1984, she completed her PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She was awarded a Recipient Outstanding Youth of India award Junior Chamber of Commerce, 1976, Thannambikai award Pondicherry Welfare Association, 1993, Micon International II prize for best research paper poster Pondicherry Welfare Association, 1994, Significant Achievement award Rotary Club Madras, 1995; named 1st Handicapped President Girl Guide in India, 1968.
