Dr. Mansi Sharma received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, in 2017, from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She earned an M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics, in 2008, and an M.Tech. degree in Computer Applications, in 2010, from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. Since May 2018, she has been working as a DST Inspire Faculty in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Her research interests include Computational Imaging and Display Technologies, 3D Computer Vision, Algebraic Perspective on Deep Learning, Augmented/Mixed Reality, Computational and Applied Mathematics and Algebraic Geometry.
She has been awarded prestigious INSPIRE faculty award in 2017 by the Indian National Science Academy (INSA apex body of Indian scientists). She has also been engaged in major research projects (being the principal investigator) supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) within the Ministry of Science and Technology in India. She is an active member of the IAENG International Association of Engineers, and Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering (APISE), Hong Kong. She also been serving as technical program committee member/reviewer for top national/international journals and conferences in the field. She was selected as a distinguished program committee member of the premier 27th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence and the 23rd European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI-ECAI-2018).
