Abstract
Large area triangular gold nanoparticle thin films were fabricated by creating a thermal stress at glass substrate-gold interface. Broadband/Fluorescence Fourier plane imaging of these films showed enhanced scattering (confirmed by spectra) and good refractive index sensitivity. © OSA 2014.
