Singly symmetric thin-walled cold-formed steel members subjected to axial compression could fail by torsional-flexural buckling about the symmetry axis in the post-local buckling range of the plate elements. The behavior of the coupled local and torsional-flexural buckling behavior of singly symmetric thin-walled cold-formed steel members subjected to eccentric compression is investigated. The strength based on the methods are compared with the results of an extensive test program consisting of channel and lipped channel sections subjected to eccentric loading in the plane of symmetry.
