Flow and heat transfer characteristics of a viscous incompressible fluid confined in a channel made up of a flat wall and the other with a periodic wall protrusions have been analyzed under a forced convection situation. The governing equations of flow and heat transfer subject to the pertinent boundary conditions have been solved using a linearization technique. Numerical results for averaged mass flow and heat transfer rates have been obtained and discussed in detail. (Authors)
