Abstract
In this paper solutions are presented in closed form for the flow due to a point source of oscillatory strength in an inviscid, rotating, stratified liquid. The solutions do not exhibit any spherical symmetry. The flow due to a steady source is deduced as a limit. © 1972 Springer-Verlag.
