Abstract
This paper highlights the effect of magnetic field introduced in the electrode gap in electrolytic grinding, when a metal bonded wheel with silicon carbide abrasives was used to face grind tungsten carbide. The effect of feeding force on metal removal rate and current density is reported. Also the effect on power consumption and specific energy consumption is discussed. © 1977.
