Geometry-based hyperbolic grid generation for computational fluid dynamics

Abstract
A technique of hyperbolic grid-generation based on analytical geometric considerations was proposed for computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The technique consisted the generation of orthogonal quadrilateral cells with controllable cell area. The method of grid generation was found to be convenient for accurate prediction of laminar and turbulent flow past arbitrary shaped bodies.
