Abstract
The effect of the shear modulus, size and dispersion of second phase particles on rate of growth of fatigue cracks in two-phase materials is determined using the kinetic theory approach. The results obtained explain the experimental observations in pearlitic steels. © 1976 Noordhoff International Publishing.
