Abstract
A high performance combinative control strategy is presented for various processes in this paper. In combinative control, self-tuning fuzzy PID complements PID acting in the background and applied for many second order, marginally stable systems with dead time and open loop unstable systems. The futuristic real-time control s/w developed in Neuron C is embedded in a network processor, Neuron chip based I/O module. As an application the resulting Smart Fuzzy controller is applied to averaging level control in process plants. The proposed combinative control strategy shows high control performances, which are more satisfactory than other conventional control techniques. Intelligent fuzzy algorithms and advanced control modes make the Smart embedded controller ready to meet the needs of various processes.
