This demonstration will present the operation and main features of the 5G Core software system based on 3GPP Release 16. The system is being developed as part of the Indigenous India 5G testbed project, led by IIT Madras. The core software is based on Network Function Virtualization concepts and the Service Based Architecture (SBA). The main features to be demonstrated in the current version will be UE (de)registration, PDU session establishment and release. © 2021 IEEE.
