

Tarun K. Chandrayadula is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Ocean Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (2014). Prior to this he was at IIT Delhi (IITD) as an assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering department. Before IITD he was a National Research Council and Office of Naval Research Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Oceanography at Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, CA (2010-2013). Before NPS he was at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA getting his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) (2003-2010) and Master of Science (MS). (2001-2003) degrees in Electrical Engineering. He got his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Madras University. Most of his research has thus far been in statistical signal processing, acoustic propagation models, inverse methods, and array spatial processing.
