We have designed a low-cost Tactograph, to make tactile pictures accessible to a person with visual impairment. The Tactograph was designed with an x-y stage and a fluid in a refillable cartridge. Tactile shapes were printed on a regular A4 sized paper using this system. This refillable cartridge is a simple disposable syringe, which makes it easy to use. We have designed and developed a USB interface based controller board with stepper motors. The control transfers between control board and PC is done with Python based programming. We have achieved tactile image of average width 1.68\ \mathbfmm\ \mathbfwith \pm 0.31\ \mathbfmm tolerance using an adhesive fluid. © 2019 IEEE.
