Abstract
In the present paper an attempt has been made to predict the behavior of some precision hydraulic components such as feed back spring and flexure tube. The performance of the valves depends on so many parameters. The feed back spring and flexure tube elements are identified as more critical spring elements in servovalve operation. If these elements are properly designed with respect to stiffness, automatically dynamic performance of the servovalve is improving. Hence an attempt has been made to predict the stiffness of these elements by finite element method. The solid model of these components are carried out in IDEAS-Master modular and simulated by applying the suitable boundary and loading conditions. The stress concentration areas in these components due to loading are shown. The critical affecting dimensional sensitivity analysis is carried out using FEM and results are presented.
