Abstract
This paper reports the investigation of the transport of cathodically generated hydrogen across the ferrite of a 0. 1 percent carbon-annealed mild steel over a range of temperatures. The lattice parameters of the cathodically impregnated ferrite of an annealed 0. 1 percent mild steel measured at room temperature and liquid nitrogen temperature are also reported. The results are discussed.
