Abstract
This chapter includes three parts. The first part covers the basic physics and principles of photothermal microfluidics. The second part focuses on cell manipulation using photothermal microfluidics and nanofluidics, and the third part covers the applications of photothermal microfluidics and nanofluidics for flow and droplet control. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2016.
