Performance comparison of radio over fiber techniques in the fronthauling of WLAN signal

Abstract
Two optical fronthaul signal transmission techniques - digital baseband and analog IF over fiber are presented for WLAN signal in a two-sector 2x2 MIMO scenario. The latter scheme is found suitable for next generation mobile networks. © OSA 2016.
