Successive Raman and atom probe tomography (APT) were performed to observe the three-dimensional (3D) arrangement of graphene in laser powder bed fused graphene/AlSi10Mg composite. Consistency in 2D band of graphene under raman spectroscopy justify the structural inherency of graphene in the matrix. Iso-surface generated by the carbon atoms in APT further ensure that graphene remains stable and retains its platelets nature even after laser fusion. The proximity of graphene near the Si walls was high based on the nano-architecture of graphene observed under APT. © 2020 Elsevier B.V.
