Measuring orthogonal components of electric field via optical second harmonic generation in KTiOPO4

Abstract
DC to impulse electric field measurements are performed by combining an electro-optic effect with the second harmonic generation in KTiOPO4 crystals. The technique is extended to measure orthogonal components of the electric field. © 2008 Optical Society of America.
