Magnetoresistance of PbTe films

Abstract
Magnetoresistance properties of PbTe films grown by HWE technique are studied. Using the measured experimental data, the anisotropy in energy ellipsoids is determined and it is found that the rotation of energy ellipsoid in (100) PbTe films is in the 〈111〉 plane. Fermi energy level, the scattering parameter, and the effective masses m 1★ and m t★ in these films are also determined. These results compare well with available results on single crystals of PbTe.
