Accurate, precise, and reproducible thermophysical data have been and will continue to be pivotal for advancing the chemical sciences and addressing research needs with broad societal impact. Since its inception, the Journal of Chemical& Engineering Data (JCED) has played a prominent role in the curation and dissemination of accurate, precise, and reproducible thermophysical data. High-quality thermophysical data have always been and continue to be important for addressing research needs with broad societal impact (e.g., carbon dioxide capture, benign refrigerants, energy-efficient chemical separation).
