Abstract
A theoretical study of the behaviour of capillary-compensated annular recess conical hydrostatic thrust bearings under conditions of eccentricity and rotation is reported. The influence of aspect ratios, cone angles and resistance ratios on the static and dynamic characteristics is discussed. © 1983.
