This paper refers briefly to the operation of a single stage system with the help of a cycle diagram. Such a system, using flat plate collector for generation, is likely to fail at certain operational parameters. The paper then discusses the operation of a two stage system with the help of schematic and cycle diagrams. The relations that are used in predicting the system performance are also given.
