Abstract
A horizontal orthotropic multi-layered cylindrical vessel subjected to fluid loading is analyzed by finite element displacement method. The end conditions considered are simply supported-simply supported (SS), clamped-clamped (CC), clamped-free (CF). In the case of varying thickness shell the thickness is varied piecewise linearly. Numerical results are presented for various cases in the form of graphs and tables. © 1991.
