In the dynamic surface tension data, initially the decrease is relatively steep followed by a more gradual change. If the transition from the adsorption of isolated ellipsoids to multiple ellipsoids (close to each other and associated interface deformation overlap) were to cause the change in surface tension with time, then the surface tension should start to change aer there are enough ellipsoids at the interface, which is not the case. Therefore throughout the dynamic surface tension measurements there is particle adsorption, however, the rate of adsorption depends on several factors which are discussed in the manuscript.
