Abstract
Design and demonstration of a high gain corrugated conical horn antenna centered at 22 GHz with 4 GHz bandwidth is presented for material process monitoring in furnaces. The fabricated antenna is tested in a metal melting furnace. The high temperature RADAR signals demonstrate non-contact level sensing of the molten mass and material property variations with temperature. © 2017 IEEE.
