Abstract
A relatively simple numerical iterative procedure for estimating the normal modes of flexural vibrations of a slender, multipanel latticed cantilever, tapered or straight, is developed. The cantilever is reduced to a N mass system and the influence coefficients are derived with due consideration to the shear flow through the diagonal bracings. Experimental and computer results on a model are compared. © 1976.
